Zvenigorodskaya Multifunctional Complex

650.000 sqm

Russia

2016

Boosting more than 650.000 sqm of overall built development, this new project will be a milestone in Moscow’s latest addition to its skyline. Our development maximizes views for all units. The tower’s floor plates vary between 800 and 1400 sqm sizes, and feature between 7 to 13 apartments per floor. They are configured to bring light and air to all living spaces. At the upper levels, penthouse units provide a spectacular setting for luxury high-rise living.

Taking inspiration from the rhythm of large window openings and fine masonry walls of contemporary inspirational buildings from around the world, our composition is wrapped in a rhythmic screen of staggered stone piers and double window units, where blocks are carefully sculpted into various segments. These segments are built up of three main type of façade texture. A more solid segment, a fully glazed segment and towards the top of the towers a louvered segment which expresses the verticality and sculptural visual appearance of the composition. The composition of triangular towers creates a striking effect, which will be recognisable from any part of the capitol.

The similar towers create an enhanced categorical statement on Zvenigorodskaya highway. The strict geometrical composition, with the repetition of identically oriented blocks seeks to provide a strong recognisable character for the whole development. To complement the geometrical layout the facades are carefully sculpted to create a vertical dynamic movement, a captivating and
playful game.

To establish a pedestrian-friendly scale for the development, the plan calls for a network of small, walkable blocks creating a balanced environment with public and private parks, gardens, playgrounds, sport facilities and other recreational zones.
