Red Whale Shopping Centre Phase Two

“Red Whale” is a well-known brand mark for successful retail and number one customer traffic generator shopping mall in Moscow region. It is located perfectly in front of Mytishchi train station, which is a guarantee of its long-lasting retail success. End of 2014 the second phase of Red Whale will be opened in Mytishchi together with residential accommodation sitting on top of it.

“Red Whale” is situated in the Centre of Mytishchi in the Moscow city of Station Square. Total area of the Mall is 92.3 thousand square meters. The second phase of the project is scheduled to open in late 2012.

Dyer was commissioned to prepare the concept design, detailed design, tender information and construction documentation for the interiors of all the public and landlord spaces and the external facades of this new exciting extension to an existing Moscow shopping centre.

The interiors include the development of a cohesive way-finding strategy, the mall furniture, the food court and ice rink design and the shop fronts. Shopfronts, mall bulkheads, balustrades and the mall floor have been designed to provide a harmonised coherent aesthetic that is fully consistent with a contemporary shopping mall and will attract the very best national and international tenants.

We assisted the client with the procurement of construction materials from China and other global locations ensuring best value for money was delivered.

Our client, Build-to-Rent Group specialises in commercial real estate and implements its investment and development projects, primarily shopping malls, in Moscow and regions of Russia.
