OZ Bowling

Following the success of the OZ Krasnodar Shopping Mall, Dyer was commissioned to provide interior designs for various tenants and special entertainment units owned by the landlord. Amongst many of these works Dyer is proud to claim the full interior concept and detail design stages including also the working stage documentation and on-site supervision for the OZ ONE Bar, Bowling and Billiard Centre.

More than 5000 sqm of entertainment unit consists of many feature zones, all dedicated for a specific function, such as the sports bar, the karaoke bar, VIP bowling, etc. Since there was a distinctive functional split between the various zones, the design team had to create very different looking spaces keeping in mind the continuity of the overall design.

The entertainment centre was designed in parallel with the OZ movie theatre, therefore the design spans across both large entertainment units throughout the public areas. These public areas are linked together with a grand lobby. This lobby also provides the physical separation between the two spaces, however Dyer had to come up with a new concept of securing the privacy of each tenant while they shared a large open entrance hall together.

To create even more dramatic internal spatial experience Dyer worked together with specialist lighting designers, and developed a coherent light concept for all the different areas of entertainment.
