To support MBNA growth in the UK and main land Europe Dyer were commissioned in 1999 to commence the design and delivery of Phase Three a 8,000 sq m office building disposed over two levels.
The office accommodation was disposed around a central atrium that was designed to accommodate vintage American car – donated by MBNA America. The central atrium provided access to the open plan call centre space, the 105 seat ‘fast break’ cafe facility and a 350 seater auditorium.
Mid-way through the construction process MBNA instructed a fully enclosed air conditioned corridor should link the 30m gap between their Phase Two and Phase Three projects.
