Golf Clubs

Russia, UK

A particular expertise has been gained in golf-based leisure where several clubhouses have been designed resulting in the authorship of “Golf Clubhouses – A Planning Guide” for the Golf Development Council and “The Design of Clubhouses” for the Sports Council by our founding partner Roger Dyer. As the provision of retail and leisure facilities associated with golf becomes more widespread, Dyer has made use of its considerable experience in the design of hotels, restaurants and retail centres.

The practice has worked in association with major international golf course architects including the late Dave Thomas, Paul Thomas, Neil Coles, Brian Huggett, John Jacobs, Tony Jacklin and Jack Nicklaus.

We have also worked extensively with specialist international golf contractors and consultants such as Southern Golf, Alfred McAlpine etc both nationally and internationally.

Situated along the Moscow – St. Petersburg Highway, this community combines the unique attributes of the site – preserved forest land, rolling terrain, and picturesque streams — to provide a contemporary golf club for the business and elite class of Russia. Dyer provided concept design services for the golf villas disposed around the golf course and clubhouse. Auchmill was designed to take advantage of its unique topography, challenging golfers with a variety of lies and interesting hole placements.

  6. Silvermere Golf Club
The tree-lined golf course at Silvermere is a true test of golf located in the heart of Surrey.
