In June 2010 developer Yuzhny Polyus (South Pole) has opened a $70m mall, named Belgorod City Mall.  The 70,000-square-meter mall has 50,000 square meters of trading space and 1,100-car parking lot.

The mall has 80 stores, including 11,000-square-meter Karusel hypermarket, electronics and household appliances hypermarket, M.Video, sports goods store Sportmaster, kids goods store Dochki i Synochki, clothing retailers New Yorker, Snezhnaya Koroleva (Snow Queen) and others.

Dyer was commissioned to prepare the concept and scheme design an extension of an existing shopping centre in Belgorod with the goal to increase the area of retail space by another 15 thousand square meters. This new building will be connected to the existing building, allowing for easy movement from one building to the other. Total length of retail galleries from east to west will be over 700 meters. There are plans to construct recreation areas, a cafe, and even a small public library.
