34 Dover Street

1.000 sqm

UK

1998

The property, constructed in the mid 1960s, is situated on the west side of Dover Street, directly opposite Brown’s Hotel. The building is well placed to benefit from the excellent shopping facilities, hotels and restaurants that Mayfair has to offer. Dyer was asked to undertake a full refurbishment of the building including the office floors, common areas and entrance lobby, the conversion of the existing car showroom into ‘high class’ restaurant and the addition of two further ‘penthouse’ office floors to increase the overall capacity of the building.

The building remained operational whilst the refurbishment, including the addition of the two ‘pent-house’ floors, was undertaken. The refurbishment was undertaken on a floor by floor basis with the tenants being relocated as required. The average area of each floorplate was 2,500 sq ft with excellent natural light. The refurbishment upgraded the accommodation including air conditioning, IT systems, lighting etc. to meet the demands of modern office space. A new canopy spanning the full width of the building signifies the entrance to the office building and identifies an external seating area for the restaurant.
